Well, today is my birthday folks, and Google decided to put this cute doodle

in my search engine to congratulate me :), Thank you Google.

To celebrate this fine day  i am going on a 2 weeks vacation 

to the Caribbean Beaches, (go me!!!), and i hope to come re-energized

I think is only fair if i give my second post to the woman who's works inspired me to become an illustrator.

Patricia Metola or "Tipika" as i knew her, and her illustration blog, were the heaven to my ever working fantasy filled mind :)

Her kind words of inspiration and encouragement made  me work harder and better

every day for my goal of becoming a children's book illustrator.

My first print is one that holds my heart close 

Elf with bagpipes was made a few years ago, but the history behind it

is so precious that i couldn't think of any other i wanted to celebrate the opening of my shop with.
